Winterfest
Just wanted to post this and let anyone who may come by here know that Winterfest will be going on February 18-20 in Gatlinburg TN. If you live anywhere near that area and can go, it's a great thing for teens to attend (but not only teens as I would love to go myself!).
Services are held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday...and I think they even have early and late sessions for each day. I'm not sure who will be doing the speaking this year, or what groups will be performing, but I know the Newsboys will be one of them.
The youth group from my church goes every year, and absolutely love it! I myself have not been, but have watched the videos of the sermons and dramas that are done, and it looks like it would be a wonderful experience to have, and a good place for teens to really have an awesome time in our Lord! If you live close by and can go, try to get out there!
I'm not sure how much the cost to attend is or even if the services cost anything at all. Our youth group raises money for it, but that is most likely just for renting the vans to take them there, and for their motel. The information is easy to find on the web, but if anyone has any trouble and wants to know more, just let me know and I can get the information for anyone who is interested in attending.
I'd like to go myself...looks pretty awesome!
