hey all, and a Big God Bless you!! i know there are only 3 members here, and no posts LOL, but i would like to post a few things in hopes that, if someone does drop by, they will get involved on the boards as well.
what types of christian music do you like?? who are your favorite groups/bands??
i like all types of christian music myself, so long as it isn't rap.  i would have to say some of my favorite groups are: Hillsong, Third Day, and Jars of Clay...to name a few.

O Great I like music,
Well some of my favorite gospel music are by artists named: 1.Donnie Mc Clurrkin
2.Kirk Franklen
3.Yolanda Adams
4.Smoky Norful
5.Tonex
just to name a few.

I'm actually not too familiar with those groups/artists. Some of my favorites are:
Hillsong
Third Day
Rebecca St. James
Jars of Clay
Casting Crowns
Crabb Family
I'm actually liking the Crabb Family more and more LOL!! It all started with "Through The Fire". I also LOVE that song by Robbie Trice that the Gaithers sing called "Alpha and Omega". If you have never heard this song....goodness! You must check it out, but they'll never do it as good as the two sisters from my church who sing it LOL!! Well, I shouldn't say that, but I do just LOVE their version SOOOOOOO much!! I LOVE BOTH versions!! It's such a blessing!! I wish they would sing it more at my church...I could listen to it OVER and OVER and NEVER get tired of it!

I love the Crabb Family!! Mercy Me is great as well. I found this site by a forum.I love good old southern gospel music!!

Yes, Jars of Clay are GREAT!! I remember listening to them a lot just after I was saved, maybe even a bit before. I used to listen to LaRue a lot before I was saved, and just think about how much I needed the Lord. It helped so much!! LaRue has some great music for the Lord for sure. "Like Clay" is probably my favorite...OH, and "Reason".

Yeah, the Crabb Family are TOO GOOD!! You know, I used to NEVER listen to southern gospel. I always liked what I heard in church of it, but when hearing it on the radio or something, it didn't seem the same LOL....but then, I like anything they sing in church! WELL, I went to camp meeting in another county here in Kentucky a year or so ago, and Michael Combs was there. I think SOME of the Crabb Family had been there, but I missed that night. WELL, I really liked hearing Michael Combs, and he was hilarious too! I came home and borrowed my mom and dad's cd of his, but didn't care for it much at all hearing it like that. THEN NOT TOO LONG AGO, I started hearing more and more of the Crabb Family. I love them!!
"Through The Fire" is great...thats what got me listening to them LOL. Now, I just about listen to "Something Going on in the Fire" and "The lion became the king" ...I believe its called, everyday when I go to work. I love those songs!! There are others too, but right now, those are my favorites. Theres still a lot I haven't heard by them, though. Are there any you really like that you want to suggest? I will surely check them out!!
Anyway, they came here just a couple months ago, and I missed the singing. Some of my friends went, but I'm really gonna try to make it next time they come by. Its easy to hear/see they are so blessed of God. He surely has given them their gifts in music for his glory!

I like music too!
A few ones: Michael D. Smith, Toby Mac, Make up your mind and also songs maded in Holland called opwekking. Just a few of my collection. LOL

I would LOVE to hear some music from Holland!! That would be awesome! I like all kinds of music! I have some classical, tons of christian/gospel music, and some stuff from other parts of the world. Mostly what I have from other parts of the world, is from Ireland. I love Irish music!!! I have tons of it too!! I'd love to hear some christian Irish music, though. That would be too awesome!

seems great marsha!!
The Holland music is also in english songs and some dutch songs too. I love this kind of music.
In march they record the new songs. It is very expensive to stay there a weekend. i have been there 1 day and it is awesome!! You can buy the new cd in the end of may. so i gonna buy them then i hope.
