Hey all, and a BIG God bless you! The Lord has been doing so much for me lately...his blessings are overwhelming!! He has been blessing my family in a wonderful way as well. First of all, my little cousin Erica finally had her kidney transplant a couple days ago!! Just when things were beginning to seem a bit dreary, the Lord stepped in and took care of everything. His timing is always perfect, and he always does the job right! The kidney Erica received was a PERFECT match...it was amazing. She hadn't even been on the doner list that long, either. What an amazing God we serve.
Also, its amazing what he has been doing in my life. It seems like it happened all the sudden, though I know he's been at work since the beginning. I have been saved for a little over a year now, but I just recently realized many truths in having a relationship with Christ. It seems like for the longest time, my walk with the Lord was up and down...always some kind of disappointment to deal with. With church, it was in and out which is NEVER the right way to go. Then as the Lord spoke to me one night, I realized it all begins with a decision. I won't go into the things he told me because that would be a book LOL, but it all added up to that...the decision that had to be made. Its a decision everyone must make....YES, even christians. What am I talking about? Well, that too will be a book LOL...I'm going to try to post a write-up about it on the main site soon, so keep checking back. This post is all about thanking him, though.
Since then, I have seen so many amazing changes taking place in my life! He has blessed me with joy that can not be shaken, and it gets better each day! I thank him for giving me a good kick when I was being stubborn, and then setting my feet back on the right path. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for my family and I in the days to come...I know it will be wonderful!
Though I know the road ahead will bring many blessings, I also know a great deal of obstacles will be in the way. Thats okay, though, because I know this must happen. With the Lord's help, they will all be removed...I have no doubts about that! I am just so thankful for the way he has opened my eyes and heart to receive the truth. God Bless you all Richly!
In Christ Jesus,
-Marsha
